Hello lovely readers.. Popping in with a little Scully update.
I posted "Introducing Scully" back in September after having him for about 5 days and thought now would be a good time to follow up.
Let me start with saying he is still as wonderful as ever. The most loving, sweetest dog we have ever had the pleasure of sharing our lives with.
Scully is a sweet gentle giant Great Pyrenees that is currently weighing in at 120 pounds, up 25 pounds since adopting him in September.. Yowza!!
Besides being big.. he is hairy and likes to leave drool on everything!! Requiring me to vacuum 3 times a day along with changing all the bedding throughout the house and the couch covers. Doesn't sound like much fun.. does it!!!
In fact I wouldn't change it for the world. He is loving, gentle, sensitive, loyal, trusting and the great protector. (not 1 raccoon or opossum has visited our yard in months) haha.. He loves us unconditionally and just adores our Ralphie and Rivers, he follows them around all day long, even trying to sleep with them at night.. of course he is to big.. but he still tries.
We are so thankful everyday to have found our Scully!!!
Xo.. Tam
he is the cutest thing..
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!! We all love him so much ♥
ReplyDeleteLove your Scully. He is adorable and looks all love. Yes hair and drool are all over our house as well. Well, Buddha still has some growing in to do and doesn't shed yet. His drool is still in check, but I expect it soon. And no I wouldn't trade it for the world either. They are the best dogs ever!!! They are in my eyes Pyrfect!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pryfect New Year 2013 to you and your family....
OMG - I miss my pyrs so much!! (They lived long full lives, thankfully.) Scully is absolutely beautiful!! Our home is now the domain of our big Pyr/English Mastiff. He has 1/2 the hair, but twice the drool! haha.
