Hello sweet readers.. I know!! It has been so long and I deeply apologize for being MIA. I do have a wonderful reason for being away for so long. My sweet little family and I have been vacationing in the beautiful New Hampshire. We spend 10 glorious days in Meredith on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.
We did so much... wherever do I begin. We spend long days on the lake soaking up the sun. We took a boat ride around the beautiful lake on the famous Mt. Washington, even visiting the wheel house for a chat with the captain and a picture. We spent an entire day at Clark's Trading Post to see the famous live bear show, even watching the show twice. We visited the Funspot (worlds largest arcade) Twice, for a little bit of kid fun. Strolled around Weirs beach and boardwalk for some shopping and lunch. Stopped off at the wonderful Kellerhaus for some build your own ice cream sundaes and of course a bit more shopping. and of course we couldn't miss stopping in at the historical Old Country Store and Museum to let the kids pick out some penny candy. This awesome little store has been standing for over 200 years.
We spend time with family and great friends.. The highlight for my little ones was being able to spend time with there Grandmother Sheila and lots and lots of time with there Great Grandfather Alex who is 90. It was a beautiful thing to watch the bonding between them.
It was an amazing and memorable trip for all of us.. and I have to admit that we were all a bit sad when it came to an end and was time to head home.
Sharing some pictures of our adventures with you.
I hope you also are having an amazing and memorable summer!!!
